Pools and Bunnies

We had a very busy day on Wednesday.  After my doctor's appointment, Elli and I went to the YMCA and played in the pool.  I was able to get in the shallow end thanks to Leslie and her willingness to lend me some shorts!!  Elli loved it.

After the pool, we stopped by and saw the Easter Bunny. She was so excited, I thought she might explode.  She kept talking to him and wanting to show him all kinds of things...he was a good sport though!

Play Dates and Birthdays

Today was a busy day.  We started out at Mother's Morning Out with a trip to the park...it was a beautiful day.

After nap we got to celebrate Caroline and Charlotte's birthdays...this was a real treat!  All of Elli's favorite things - cousins, BoBo, and cake!!  I better plan something fun for tomorrow or she won't know how to handle herself =)

Big Sister

Elli and I are preparing for Baby Brother's arrival.  One thing I wanted to do was to get brother/sister presents. I wanted her to have something to give him when he arrived home from the hospital and then have a present from "him" for her as well.  Today Elli and I picked out a few tiny things at Target and she wrapped them up for her baby brother.  She truly did choose - I would hold up several toys and she picked out her favorite.  I wanted to get something she would see him with a lot and we needed a few blue toys - everything we had to hang on car seats and rattles were blue.  I think Baby Brother will love them and Elli is well on her way to becoming a great big sister!

Rainy Saturdays

We decided to take a Mommy and Me trip with our friends to Jacksonville to try out Jump-In-Jax.  This is a warehouse style building with tons of inflatables for kids.  There is a specific area for toddlers which is nice.  Elli loved it!  It was extra nice to go with a friend who took Elli on the big girl slides (something that I felt might not be a good idea at this point in the pregnancy!)
Please note - it was hard to get a good shot because of the mesh lining and the speed they were moving!
