Lazy Day Wednesday

Boy was I happy to see it raining this morning.  I felt it was the perfect excuse for us to have a Lazy Day.  I realized that I may be wearing myself out trying to do everything "right" for everyone.  I wanted to spend enough time doing educational activities with Elli, making sure Jackson had enough tummy time, and Elli got enough outdoor time.  I was so relieived when it was raining and I decided all "requirements" were to be thrown out the window.  We were going to stay in our jammies all morning.  We were going to do WHATEVER we wanted to and we were going to enjoy it.  We did enjoy it.  Elli and I made smoothies and cupcakes.  We played playdoh.  We colored. We did stickers.  We watched TV.  We had fun together.  After her nap the weather cleared and we declared Lazy Day officially over and went ahead outside.  It was a great day.  Maybe we will have this day once a week?  I could get used to it!
