Farmer's Market Spring Fest

I keep remembering that I took Elli to this last year at 9 months pregnant.  It was certainly a lot more enjoyable this year.  I love seeing downtown New Bern so busy.  You can click here to see us at the Spring Fest last year...look how much my baby girl has grown.  You will have to scroll down but you will find it!

Spring Time is FINALLY Here!

And we enjoyed it yesterday with a buddy from church.  The girls played non-stop at the park.  They were so cute to watch together.  I love this stage of make-believe.  Most of the day yesterday they were pirates on a treasure hunt, until the end when they decided to be cowgirls instead.  Yee-haw!

We Love Outside!

I'm sorry the posts haven't been as frequent.  It is getting a bit crazy around here between work, finishing up another book, and trying (or needing to try) to get ready for the baby.  But, in the midst of all of that, we are LOVING this weather.  Elli and I try to go outside as much as possible and if we don't get enough in the morning, Jacob always has her outside in the afternoon.  Check it out!
Playing at our local park!

Helping Dad mow the lawn!

All that mowing can make a girl tired so we took a break!

Obviously Daddy wasn't doing it right so she needed to show him correct form.

So Ready for Spring

I love that it is still February and we can visit the parks here in Eastern NC.  I am not a winter person so short winters are just fine with me.  Yesterday's warmer temperatures called for a play date downtown.
