The American History Museum

We took a quick trip into DC to check out the American History museum. This is my favorite museum actually - I love the hall of First Lady dresses.  We didn't make it there though.  Jackson and Elli got stuck in the transportation section with life size trains and subway cars and big rigs. Papa Bender - we are TOTALLY taking you there next time you visit - you would love it.

The day started off rough with us driving for 30 minutes looking for a parking space and lots of tears and mama fussing and walking in rain.  But the museum was great.  Trip home - also not so great b/c I suddenly came down with a fever that led to the flu.

Memories.

Not so happy

Getting better!

Quick Trip to Building Museum

This Saturday we took a quick trip into DC for the National Building Museum. However I think the highlight of this trip was the metro train.  Jackson has now learned how to say Metro Train and it is super cute...I'll try to get a video for ya

Here we go!

This boy is happy - a room full of blocks and trucks!

What the metro really looks like...two kids crawling all over you!

Fun Outings In VA

Time to play catch up! A very long picture post of some of the things we have explored since being in VA.  Sorry I haven't kept this as up to date as I would like, but between the move, the new jobs, and two little ones - a long picture post is the best I can do!
