An Advent Idea from Pinterest

I saw this idea on Pinterest to create an Advent calendar that had activities for every day in December.  Then I found a blog that had little cut out cards with the activities ALREADY created.  To cheat even further, I bought this little house from Target that had 25 doors on it for Christmas and stuck in the already created cards so really I had to do NOTHING.  Which is good because you all know I am not crafty.

We are having fun with this.  Some days the cards have little treats (like the stickers below - the card said decorate the refrigerator today).  Some days the cards have things like "we are going to a parade today" or "let's decorate the tree tonight."  I've adjusted some of the cards for our situations and ages, but I really like this idea.  I think it will make a nice tradition.  Throughout the month, I'll post some pictures of the things we do.  If you want the cards, let me know and I'll email you the document!
